Developer The Sembler Co. has named Jeff Fuqua president starting April 1.

Fuqua started with St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Sembler 18 years ago and most recently was president of development in Atlanta for the company. Fuqua has been recognized by employees and colleagues as one of the pioneers of mixed-use development and urban renewal in the Southeastern United States.
Sembler is currently working on a $400 million mixed-use center on Peachtree Road near Cross Keys Drive in Atlanta. To be called Brookhaven Place, the project will have 1,200 residential units, in a mix of apartments, mid-rise condominiums and townhouses.
