Wednesday, May 14, 2008 - Location - Atlanta, GA 30319 6:00-8:30 PM As a neighboring community of Buckhead, Brookhaven was originally conceived as a golf club community in 1910. Since then, Brookhaven has flourished as a residential market with close proximity to many of the major employment and retail centers of Atlanta. Only recently has this small submarket exploded with large-scale mixed-use projects aimed at keeping retail consumers and office rental dollars in the area. Because of the increased development interest in Brookhaven, the community has emphasized the need for thoughtful planning to ensure sustainability, transit connectivity, and smart growth principles. The Brookhaven LCI dictates many of these tenets, and developers are using this plan to create a sense of place.

Hello – I am sorry I missed your Brookhaven event. Is it possible for you to post a summary of the discussion on the community’s future (or if a summary is posted elsewhere, to forward the link)? Thank you.

The meetings are so vital to future of the community. Instead of reacting to the poignant issues, be active and share your thoughts on what you want your community to be. These are once in a lifetime opportunities
